Agreement Overview

By downloading, installing, or accessing MicroBeat, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

1. Pro Subscription & In-App Purchases

MicroBeat offers auto-renewing subscriptions and optional in-app purchases to unlock premium features, including unlimited daily fuel rounds, full decade crates (1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s), and acoustic lab telemetry:

  • Yearly Master Pass: $29.99 USD per year ($2.49/month equivalent), billed annually. Includes an introductory 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
  • Monthly Pass: $4.99 USD per month, billed monthly with no commitment.
SUBSCRIPTION BILLING & CANCELLATION RULES:
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase or after the 7-day free trial concludes.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the original subscription price.
• You may manage and cancel your subscriptions anytime by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial period ends.

2. Intellectual Property & Music Snippets

MicroBeat provides trivia gameplay using short 30-second audio previews streamed directly via authorized public Apple Music content delivery networks. All song recordings, musical compositions, artist names, and album artwork belong exclusively to their respective copyright holders and record labels.

MicroBeat and Zeugma Labs LLC claim no ownership over the underlying musical assets. Gameplay audio previews are used for trivia and commentary purposes in accordance with applicable copyright laws and platform developer guidelines.

3. User Conduct & Leaderboard Integrity

To maintain fair competition on daily leaderboards and challenge arenas, you agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or intercept server communications to uncover puzzle solutions ahead of time.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or modified clients to submit artificial scores or times.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the security or integrity of our Cloudflare Workers and database infrastructure.

Violations may result in immediate termination of your account and disqualification from public leaderboards.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

MicroBeat is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free gameplay, or that audio streams will always be available in all international regions.

5. Apple Standard EULA Incorporation

These Terms incorporate by reference Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), accessible at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

6. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
